When creating this body of work, I wanted to unabashedly embrace the themes of nature, islands, and water, erasing any prejudice I might have that contemporary art can’t speak of lush dreams. My work aims to offer the viewer a range of emotions inside these fantastical landscapes, from the meditative to the adventurous,\" shares Stephanie.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\"Exuberant joy is easy to paint; bright colors remind us of the crescendo moments in our lives, while earth tones speak to a deeper, more internal joy. Even as the imagery is mysterious and fanciful, these wondrous scenes remain strangely familiar.\"\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStephanie has a BFA from Washington University in St. Louis and  has been a resident at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. She has shown in Chelsea, New York, Miami, and Palm Springs and currently shows at the Four Seasons Resort Maui in Wailea.
