Valeria Mastrascusa finds inspiration at the water’s edge–the ever changing light, the glow of the sun and the moon, the feeling of tranquility it inspires.

She shares, “Inner Eye was born not from a single sunset, but from a thousand. A thousand evenings where the horizon whispered color into silence, each time slightly different, each time leaving an imprint on my soul. The painting is not just a reflection of light, but memory—an eye turned inward, shaped by the gaze of sky meeting sea. While painting, I imagined the ocean as a sentient mirror, storing those sunsets like dreams. Inner Eye is its expression—what it sees when it closes its eyes.”
