It's in Our DNA by Patrice Federspiel
Original watercolor - unframed

A paradigm is an underlying thought pattern shaping the world in which we live. Often we’re not even aware of its presence. Whether we like it or not, our world is currently going through a paradigm shift of epic proportions.
The molecule of life, now known as DNA was first identified in the 1860s by Swiss chemist Johann Friedrich Miescher. Since that time, scientists have devoted countless hours to furthering our understanding of how this amazing double-helix ladder of connections contributes to our lives.
My use of this structure is to point to our continuing evolution as a species and in our abilities to continually find new ways to work together, in collaboration with all life. - Patrice Federspiel
