“Live Lightly, Love Deeply” is the first in my series of the “Paradigm Project." This painting speaks volumes in imagery. Look and you will find that which you seek. It’s so true in all of life. We’re individuals, speaking words that we might interpret differently from one another — and never know for sure if our intended meaning has landed.

Patrice Federspiel creates masterful watercolor paintings featuring a wide range of subject matter. Some works evoke the drama of Hawaii’s brightly colored flora and fauna, while others take you quietly within as you contemplate her inspiring abstracts. 

Patrice is a signature member, trustee, and past president of the Hawaii Watercolor Society and has received numerous awards for her work. She teaches workshops at the Honolulu Museum of Art and can often be found painting at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel in Honolulu.
