Standing in the Forest II by Timothy Allan Shafto
Hawaiian koa wood and resin colorflow painting in integral sapele frame
72″ h x 48″ w
Inspired by the colors and the feeling of light dappling the koa forest floor, Hawaii contemporary artist, Timothy Allan Shafto, combines Hawaiian koa wood with resin to create one-of-a-kind, original works of art. "Honoring the wood feels important to me," says Tim. "The color and figure of koa is so rich and diverse, and it creates such a striking element in the art."
Located at the Mauna Lani, Auberge Resort, lower lobby, next to the Spa.
