Valeria Mastrascusa finds inspiration at the water’s edge–the ever changing light, the glow of the sun and the moon, the feeling of tranquility it inspires.

"In this encounter, the sea does not roar — it breathes," shares Valeria.

"The sky does not watch — it receives.

Between them unfolds a silent offering — a blue exhalation rising from the depths toward the light.

The painting captures that invisible instant when water and air recognize one another, when the boundary between them dissolves into movement, reflection, and emotion.

The work is an act of surrender, a dialogue between the liquid body and the infinite.

Each brushstroke is intended to ascend, as if the sea were lifting its soul and the sky responded with clarity and radiance.

More than a landscape, it is a suspended sigh — the echo of something that exists only for a moment, yet in its vanishing, leaves the trace of the eternal."
