My Heart is with Maui

Mahalo to all who reached out to check in on us. We are safe and sound from the fires that happened here, but my heart is with Maui right now. The loss of lives, livelihoods, and history is overwhelming and devastating.

I’m grateful to say that the four artists I work with on Maui are personally safe, though reeling from the loss and working to help their community.

Glassblower, Julia Malia Cordi reached out for help as her fiancé lost his job in the fires and they’ve taken in refugees. Her fiance's roots are in the West side of Maui and they are taking supplies (water, baby food and formula, etc.) to help.

I'm doing what I can, but the best way I know to help her directly is to find loving homes for her art—knowing she’s contributing to her community and making a positive difference. Below you'll find my current selection of her work and if you’d like anymore info or photos, please reach out. You can also purchase online–we ship!

If you're looking for additional ways to help, the Hawaii Community Foundation has established the Maui Strong Fund, which you can contribute to directly online. There's a long road ahead...

To add a little beauty to the heavy subject of the day, included below are some new pieces of art from some of my other artists.

Mahalo for your support of our creative community during this heart-wrenching time.
