Dealing with COVID-19

Aloha Fellow Art Lovers,

As we go through these challenging times together and strip back to what's essential, we realize, the need to create, the need to connect, and the need to feel are all essential parts of our human experience.

Since opening my gallery in Hawi, I've had the pleasure of hearing you express just how much it means to you to experience such a beautiful environment, surrounded by the energetic creations of people who pursue mastery in their works, and how it "feeds your soul." I've loved being able to provide that connection and while the physical gallery is closed, in our time apart, I'm working to reimagine how to help you discover works of art that bring you joy.

I encourage you to watch our Contemporary Art Talk Story videos (on each page when you shop by artist or check out our Vimeo page), shop our website where I'm continually adding new works, schedule a Facetime virtual shopping experience of our new private art oasis, or send me photos of your walls and I'll happily provide mock-ups.

A collector recently said, "Just as art nourishes your soul, buying art nourishes the artist." It also feeds a community. Artists contribute a "significant" economic impact for our Island.

We can all use some joy in these challenging times, so if there's a work of art you've had your eye on and you have the means, now's the time to make your purchase. After all, the job of artists is to make us feel. It's the joy of creation and the joy of connection I hope we'll all continue to pursue as we come out the other side of this trying time.

 With Warmest Aloha,
