Discover Your Aesthetic

The former interior designer in me loves creating spaces that make people feel good. It's one of the things I love about sharing the gallery with you.

Surrounding ourselves with beautiful things goes beyond luxury to necessity. Art turns our homes and offices into spaces that make us feel good. That’s a powerful thing.

And now there's a book about it.

I’ve read the fabulous and fascinating book titled, Joyful: The Surprising Power of Ordinary Things to Create Extraordinary Happiness  by Ingrid Fetell Lee and highly recommend it. If you’d prefer a video, here’s a link to her Ted Talk. She does an amazing job of sharing the research and storytelling behind the 10 "aesthetics of joy." And even includes a Joyful Toolkit to help you define your aesthetic.

Of course, it's inspired me.

For me, art is the very thing that brings joy into a space. It's the connection we feel to something someone else created–the magic of that joyful moment and the power of human connection.

So we have a wonderful line up of new shows coming up for you, inspired by these various aesthetics. Save the dates and join us as new, innovative works become available every month.

Mahalo for your business & appreciation of Hawaii's master artists!
